What’s This Scoring System?
Simple. We collate professional reviews and provide an average score.
Why Do It This Way?
Motorscore was born out of the frustration experienced by our founder Mat Newton when he was searching for a new car.
Car review sites have a lot of numbers but the numbers lack meaning. So what if a car has a rating of 76/100… is that good? Is it average? How much better is a car that gets 76/100 compared to 71/100?
What the numbers need is context. So we decided to gather up all the car reviews we could find and create a brand new ranking system of all the cars on the market so you can compare the cars you are searching for.
We’re looking to give people a genuine way to compare cars.
I Have A Car Review Site. Can You List My Reviews?
If your website writes a bunch of reviews and – importantly – give an actual score in the majority of cases, contact us.
Isn’t It A Bit Mean To Rank Cheap Cars Against Luxury Cars?
Not really. You’re clever enough to figure out which cars interest you and then you can compare them.
Why Don’t You Rank Cars Only Against Their Class?
The more you narrow things down, the more you lose information.
Why Don’t You Have Reviews For (Insert Make/Model Here)?
If you believe we have missed something please let us know.
I Don’t Want You To Use My Reviews For Your Website
Talk to your SEO guy before talking to us because he will probably quit in protest if you send us a take down notice.
The more traffic we get, the more traffic you get, and the more money you will make without doing any additional work.
If that still sounds like a bum deal get in touch.
